That’s when Pauls Valley stormed back to take the lead with five consecutive pin fall wins to go in front 36-21.
Alex Romero ended the Pantherflurrywithadecision triumph but that proved to be the final Madill points.
In girls’ action, Samantha Ortiz, Karmony Pearson and Morgan Walls each posted fall victories for the Lady Wildcats.
Teo Barrientos and Donavon Sinks picked up forfeit wins to get Madill going in the junior matchup leading to five straight fall triumphs by Canyon Phillips, Layne Dorer, Xavier Quintanilla, Brayden Valles and Steven Moreno.
After a loss, the Wildcats finished off strong in the largest weight classes as Isaac McGee, Enrique Martinez and Alex Sarabia all recorded pin fall decisions.
In exhibition matches, Moises Bautista and Jesus Camacho also scored fall wins.
