Billy Lynn “Bill” Tucker, 93 of Vernon, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born July 14, 1931, in Ardmore, Okla., to William Chester and Carrie Montez (Stroud) Tucker.
HeattendedIsomSpringandKingston schools and graduated from Kingston High School with the Class of 1951. He worked at Western Uniform and Towel Service for 30 years. He also worked at BancFirst in Frederick. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Deadmond; sister, Lawanna Cooper; step-daughter-in-law, Heidi Deadmond; sisters-in-law:,Emerita Schroeder and Janet Stuckey.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Tucker; stepchildren, Paul Deadmond III, of Arlington, Texas, James Deadmond and wife Diana, of Vernon, Texas, Randal Deadmond and wife Teresa, of Zebulon, NC; Cynthia Walker and husband Jay, of Amber, Okla.; daughter-inlaw, Debbie Deadmond, of Ridgeway, Va; brothers-in-law, Vernon Cooper, of Kingston, Okla. and Don Schroeder, of Stillwater, Okla.; nephews, Keith Davis and wife Patti, of Kingston, Okla., Lance Davis of Kingston, Okla.; nieces, Tamara Harris, of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Tiffany Harris, of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; numerous great nieces, nephews and friends.
