Ashlin Morales was the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from theTexoma Excellence in FineArts Scholarship. Morales has been involved in the visual arts for the majority of her life. She has received multiple accolades like first and third place in the Madill Art Club competition and other competitions. She has also been honored as the Top Artist for her grade for the past three years at Kingston High School. She also won the school’s Holiday Card Contest in 2023. Morales said she plans to pursue a visual arts career by attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
