Clara Soto

Clara Soto is a vibrant and dedicated member of the Madill High School Class of 2024. She has spent her entire educational journey within the Madill schools, where she has made lasting memoriesandformedinvaluable friendships.

Soto is the daughter of IsauraGutierrezandRodrigo Ramirez, and the granddaughter ofIrmaandArnulfo Gutierrez. Her siblings are Alexa, Roxanna, Maya and Cielo Ramirez. Soto said her family has always been a source of strength and encouragement in her life, and she acknowledges their unwavering support with heartfelt gratitude.

During her time at Madill High School, Soto has been actively involved in several extracurricular activities, including band, cheerleading and yearbook. She said her friends are her favorite part of school.

“Myfavoritememoryfrom school is meeting all the people in my life now that have really impacted my life, and I hope I continue to talk to them after graduation,” she reflected.

Football games hold a special place in Soto’s heart as well. She said she cherishes the adrenaline rush that comes at the beginning of each game, a feeling she will miss when she graduates. She expressed her appreciation for her coaches.

“Thank you for pushing me to be a better version of myself and believing in me, seeing the potential in me I otherwise wouldn't have believed I had.”

Looking ahead, Soto said she intends to attend aesthetics school to become a licensed aesthetician while also pursuing her real estate license.

She said her inspiration comes primarily from her mother, who has always ensured she had access to every opportunity possible.

'My mom has been my number one supporter for everything, and I truly don't think I could've made it through school without her,' she shared.

She said she also finds inspiration in her grandmother, who encourages her to embrace new experiences.

As Soto prepares to embark on this new chapter of her life, she offered a piece of advice to her younger classmates.

“Enjoy every moment because it really does go by fast.”
