Suicide Prevention walk

The AllianceHealth Madill Senior Care Services is excited to announce an upcoming event that aims to bring awareness to a critical issue affecting many in our community: suicide prevention. The Walk for Suicide Prevention will take place on September 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City Lake Madill, and everyone is invited to participate.

This event is designed to raise awareness about the importanceofsuicideprevention and to encourage open discussions about mental health. With mental health challenges on the rise, particularly among older adults, itiscrucialforthecommunity to come together to support one another.

The dedicated team at AllianceHealth Madill is committed to providing support for those experiencing depression,anxietyandother mental health issues often associated with aging.

The Walk for Suicide Prevention is not just an opportunity to walk; it’s a chance to learn, share and connect. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into mental health resources and engage in conversations that help break the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
