    The National Sand Bass Festival Fun Run was held on June 8. The overal winners of the 5K were Gilbert Palomo for the men’s division and Brooke-Lynn Miller for the women’s. Joaquin Menchaca and Katelyn Aquaviva were the male and female winners of the 3K.

    The division winners for the 5K were Catalina Valdez, 10 & under; Lewis Cross and Brooke-Lynn Miller, 11-19; Gilberto Palomo and Lindsey Klasere, 20-29; Shelby Foster, 30-39; Jonah Douglas and Kate Stephenson, 40-49; Beau Stephenson and Jennifer Mercer, 50-59; Larry Northcutt and Monica Stolfa, 60-69; Barry Ellis, 70-79. The 3K winners were Ellie Cabrales and Rey Cabrales, 10 & under; Joaquin Menchaca and Katelyn Aquaviva, 11-19; Hunter Bailey and Yesenia Fernandez, 30-39; Tammy Landgraf, 60-69.
