The park in Kingston has new tables because of the Kingston Placemaking Committee’s hard work.
The committee has been working in conjunction with the Town of Kingston with their events, clean-up projects and beautification of Kingston. Both entities encourage involvement amongst each other.
The Town Council approved funds for their parks and recreation account. With these funds, Kingston has purchased eight new tables and four stand-alone trash cans to go in the park for use of the community.
The Placemaking Committee is looking forward to usingthesenewtablesattheir upcoming Farmers Market to be held on Saturday, September 9.
There are plans in the works to obtain grants to help with new lighting and future structures and accessories to make the park an even more enjoyable place to spend time.
