The Madill Art Show will be a Beatles theme, this year.
Bring out the family for a fun experience at The Marshall County Expo center this weekend. This free family friendly event has been held for 63 consecutive years here in Marshall County. It is the annual Art Show sponsored by The Madill Art Club and features local artists from the lake area and beyond. Over 300 entries will be available to view. Many pieces are for sale and at affordable prices considering this is original art!
J&J BBQ truck will once again provide delicious food on Saturday. They sold out last year so be sure to arrive early to place your lunch orders.
The Beatles themed art show will offer a fun photo opportunity as you enter the building past a lifesized cutout of the Fab Four. Then continue into the Octopus Garden and finally enter the main hall where you will view art by all ages. Our youth section will feature pre-school through high school artists. The official art show adult entries have been juried and awards placed. But, the most important award of all is The People’s Choice and that is based on YOUR vote. The winner of that award will be announced on Sunday.
The Madill Art Club thanks the business communities of Marshall County for participating in our unique “Guaranteed Purchasers” program. Businesses and individuals have donated money towards the purchase of art show paintings/artwork. Because of this program, our show is very popular amongst artists from all over the state. Artists love to show their work but when artwork is purchased it means someone has adopted the piece and will enjoy it in their world, whether at an office, home or business. Throughout the weekend be sure to stop and watch the ongoing slideshow on the large TV screen highlighting our guaranteed purchasers and sponsors.
Bring your Christmas list, birthday list and special occasions list to the show because many artists will have sale tables along the walls that feature smaller art pieces, custom greeting cards, and gift ideas perfect for your lists. In most cases credit cards are accepted as well as cash.
Doors open at 10:00 am on Friday and Saturday October 18 and 19 and 11:00am on Sunday.
Bring your “hippie” vibe and enjoy the music and art inspired by The Beatles. Free Admission!
