World Vision to distribute disaster relief supplies

World Vision will be distributing disaster relief supplies to families affected by the recent tornadoes that ravaged through Marshall County. World Vision is a Christian Humanitarian who assists families in need around the world.

Derrick Scobey is the Pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and is also an Ambassador for World Vision.

Scobey visited Marshall County on March 23, 2022, and met with the Oklahoma Baptist’s Disaster Relief Team. Scobey, Gary Dempsey, Dan Fuller and Don Williams had a conference with Quincy Walker, the World Vision Site Director and hatched a plan to aid Marshall County families who were affected by the tornadoes.

The disaster relief team has arranged for a 53-foot trailer loaded with disaster relief supplies to arrive the First Baptist Church Madill on Friday, March 25, 2022. The supplies will be at the FBC Madill, located at 210 First Street in Madill on Friday, at 5:00 p.m.
