A Kingston woman is facing multiple charges after a few incidents that began at Walmart. On July 9, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Madill Officer Anna Gerard was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a possible theft and assault. Prior to being dispatched, officers were informed about a BOLO for a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage with Oklahoma plates that was involved in the incident and Nita Bradley, the driver.

Kingston Police Chief Kasey Cox observed the vehicle in question traveling through Kingston. Cox attempted to initiate contact with the suspect, but Bradley failed to stop. Cox, Madill Officer Dylan Matthews and Marshall County Deputy Michael Henry pursued the vehicle through Kingston. It was a short pursuit, however, because the suspect led officers to her residence off of Deer Trail.

While the officers were detaining Bradley, Gerard was getting information about the alleged incident from Daniel Tallack with the Asset Protection Team for Walmart. Tallack stated that Bradley was not even supposed to be on Walmart property because she had previously been trespassed from the property.

Tallack also stated that he observed the suspect conceal items from the store without paying for them. After witnessing Bradley conceal the items, he approached her and requested she follow him to his office to speak about the incident.

Tallack told officers that Bradley shoved him out of the way, then attempted to run him over with her car while exiting the parking lot. Gerard inquired if he had video that corroborated his story, he said that he did

Gerard said she watched the video and observed Bradley shoving Tallack attempting to flee the store. The officer said the video also showed Bradley attempting to run Tallack over with her vehicle.

“I watched that video and observed Daniel walking in the area marked for no parking on the south side of the entrance/exit doors, where he was attempting to take a picture of her license plate,” Gerard stated in her report. “I observed the female back out of her parking space and drove straight towards Daniel and turning just prior to hitting him because he was watching and moved out of the way from being hit.”

Once detained, Bradley was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she is facing charges for Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Petit Larceny, and Trespassing.

According to an online search, Bradley, the 62-yearold female, has no Oklahoma priors.
