The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) will host a public hearing to present an overview of the US-70 Realignment project and the findings of the Environmental Assessment (EA). The hearing will also provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed improvements and EA findings. The meeting will include an open house component for material review as well as a formal hearing and presentation. The EA will be available online at www.odot.org/us70Realignment till May 27, 2022.
The project information includes the Right-of-way start in 2022, Utility relocation in 2023, and construction is set to begin in 2027. If any person wishes to submit a written statement concerning this project or the EA, they may submit their comments to the Environmental Programs Division, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, 200 N.E. 21st St., Oklahoma City, Okla. 73105. All comments must be postmarked by May 27, 2022.
