The hospital volunteers met July 15, 2021.
After a special meeting June 30,
2021, there is now a new slate of officers. President is Karen Wellman, Vice-President :Judy Parkey, Secretary: Carylon Weldon, Treasurer: Parneice Briggs, and Shop Manager: Willa Dean Caldwell.
Karen Wellman presided over the meeting. A lengthy discussion was held over the duties of officers, the security of the shop debit card, and purchasing new merchandise.
The volunteers were brought up to date on the purchase of the new Square used for credit card purchases. Teresea Anderson gave those members who had not used the Square a short tutorial after the meeting.
The shop schedule was revised. The open hours are Monday: 8 to 4, Tuesday: 8 to 4, Wednesday: 9 to 1, and Thursday and Friday: 12 to 4.
The need for new volunteers was emphasized. We welcome anyone who would be interested in helping out. New workers contact Stacey Sharp at the hospital to fill out paperwork and go through a background check.
The next meeting will be August 19, 2021.
