The Madill Rose Garden Club selected Patti and Butch Sparlin, located at 1001 W. McArthur as the May Yard of the Month. The Sparlins recently remodled a shop for Butch and built a greenhouse.
They have added many beautiful plants. Their plants include Heavenly Bamboo, roses, geraniums, Japanese meadowsweet, peonies, fringe flowers, petunias and other flowers. They have snowball trees, magnolias, common wormwood and green ash trees. They also have container vegetables and grow them in raised beds.
Their plants are blooming and colorful.
