A thunderstorm caused more havoc than just dropping tons of water on Marshall County on May 11, 2021. Lightning from the storm struck a petroluem storage tank and caused it to burst in fl ames. Multiple fi re agenices in Marshall County answered the call to put the fi re out. It was at the XTO Energy facility on Timber Hill Road. Extra water tankers were called on scene to help contain the fi re. Officials said it took approximately 15 minutes to get the fi re under control and another 30 minutes to completey extinguish the fl ames. Courtesy photo and caused it to
