The Lake Texoma Boat Show was cool off-the-lake fun for lake lovers. In June, Kingston’s Main Street was alive with boating enthusiasts. The show had both new boats displayed by Blackbeard Marine, Texoma BoathouseMarineandCasey Freeman Marine Sales. There were also vintage classic boats on display by local antique boat owners.
Vendor booths, food and drinks filled the street with both tourist and locals enjoying the day. Lake Texoma’s draw of recreational boating, fishing, jet skiing, water sports, fossil hunting, and camping has grown since the pandemic.
In 2020 and 2021, the US added an additional 800,000 new boat owners. People have rediscovered Lake Texoma and the outdoors.
Kingston is in the heart of the lake with six Marina Resorts within six miles, one within eight miles and one within 12 miles. Additionally, there are two golf courses and two large casinos in the area.
Next year’s boat show will be held on Jun 1, 2024.
