TISHOMINGO, Okla.-Johnston and Marshall County 4-H hosted its Annual County Night Out on October 23, 2021. 40 members from both counties attended the action-packed event at the Johnston County Fair Barn.
The event focused on leadership and teamwork presented by the 4-H County Officer Team. Throughout the night, there were games and learning opportunities to teach members how to work together, as well as how to be an effective leader by identifying different leadership styles and strengths. The event also included a canned food drive, Halloween costume contest, and a pumpkin carving and painting contest.
4-H members collected an outstanding 753 items for food drive! Items will be donated to local food pantries within their respective county. Receiving an award for collecting the most items was Krysha Green of Madill with 120 items! The collected items will be donated to Hope for Marshall County Food Pantry.
