Supposedly, it all started when Dvorak’s staff allegedly pushed back after he addressed things like tardiness and being unprofessional. He stated that Davis intervened and allowed the teachers to undermine Dvorak’s authority.

Dvorak alleged that the most alarming incident occurred in August when a teacher supposedly hit a special needs student in the mouth. He said that when he went to Davis to report the incident, Davis did nothing about it.

“It’s really scary to put him back into school,” Tiana Nelson, mother of an alleged victim, said.

The abuse incident isn’t the only one to happen at the school. Last year, two Ardmore elementary teachers were fired after they were criminally charged with child abuse.

Susan Hartman, one of the accused teachers, is facing charges for allegedly abusing a developmentally disabled seven-year-old boy at Charles Evans.

Autumn Simon, Dvorak’s assistant principal was allegedly given the ultimatum to “quit or be fired”. She said it’s because of her loyalty to Dvorak.
