OnFebruary25,theAmerican Legion Post #99 hosted a Prayer Breakfast to honor all veterans but in particular Floyd Miller, Cotton Armstong and John Kelly. Their names and branch of service will be placed on the Memorial brick wall area on the south side of the Marshall County Courthouse.

The event was held at the Church of Christ in Madill. Post #99 said they plan to host similar events in 2023 to honor Veterans.

The Post wanted to thank Madill Walmart for supplying the food and J. Price Energy Company for the continued assistance in reaching out to honor Veterans.

With the help of the community, it is hoped that one day Post #99 building will be rebuilt for Veterans to come, fellowship and celebrate the great Republic.
