The Madill City-County Library was merry and bright this past Saturday. Special guests from the North Pole stopped by for a lovely Christmas party.
As soon as the doors opened, a happy Snowman greeted families at the door. Santa took photos with children of all ages and handed out presents while Mrs. Claus took time out of this busy season to read to the children while they enjoyed cookies and cocoa.
Elves were on hand to help with the gifts and each child took home a book to read this holiday season. With help from a cheery Christmas Tree, the children made a Christmas photo frame craft.
The library is blessed to have such wonderful helpers in the community supporting the programs, Travis Williams as Santa, Stephanie Dohere was Mrs. Claus and volunteer Tawana Pickens served Christmas Cheer at the refreshments table.
Library staff participated as Snowman Shirley Harkins, Elves Lori Drockton and Connie Bardin, and The cheery Christmas Tree Ally Barrientos. The library wishes everyone a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and giving this holiday season.
