A Marshall County boy is in the hospital following an accidental shooting. Karter was accidentally shot in the head on January 7 by a bb gun.
Karter was flown to a Dallas hospital and has been there since. Reports said that the bb is lodged too far into his brain to be safely removed.
Currently, Karter is sedated because his temperature, heart rate and blood pressure keep climbing. They also have a cooling body wrap on him to fight the fever.
