The Madill Lady Wildcats celebrated their two seniors on Thursday, September 29, with one win and one loss in a three-way game night with Byng and Ardmore. The seniors who were recognized were Peyton Arnold and Maryn Mancini.
In the game against Byng, the Lady Wildcats watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-2 loss. Byng scored on an error, a stolenbaseandanerrorinthe first inning. Madill struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Byng, giving up 14 runs.
Arnold took the loss for the Madill Lady Wildcats. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing nine hits and 13 runs while striking out one.
Dahlia Marris, Zeplyn Thomas, and Arnold each collected one hit to lead the Madill Lady Wildcats.
The tides were turned when the Lady Wildcats took onArdmoreandMadilltasted victory. Mancini didn’t allow a single run as Madill Lady WildcatsArdmore10-0.Mancini allowed just four hits.
The Lady Wildcats opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for the Lady Wildcats.
Madill kept the winning streak alive with they scored five runs in the third inning. Madill’s offense in the inning came from a single by Lauren Campbell, an error on a ball put in play by Marris, and a double by Thomas.
Mancini earned the win for the Lady Wildcats. The lefthander allowed four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out one and walking zero.
Madill scattered 13 hits in the game. Campbell, Ireland Groeber, Peyton Arnold, Thomas,andBrooklynWashington all managed multiple hits for the Lady Wildcats. Campbell led Madill with three hits in four at bats.
