- A new era in elite youth wrestling begins as WarHammer Wrestling Club, a premier training organization officially opens to high-performing competitors from collegiate to middle school wrestlers. To mark their launch, Head Coach Peter Hammer said he is thrilled to announce War-Hammer Wrestling’s firstever All-Girls Clinic led by World Champion and Olympian, Jacarra Winchester, on August 16, 2025.
Winchester’s clinics are known to draw 80 girls at a time. Her last clinic in Montana was a prime example of her enormous following. Space for the local camp is limited to 80 wrestlers.
Toaccommodatethenumber of girls registering for Jacarra’sclinic,WarHammer Wrestling is partnering with Carrollton Thunder Wrestling Clubandtheirwrestling facilities at Creekview High School in Carrollton, Texas. Both clubs are esteemed for producing Fargo qualifiers. Carrollton Thunder also has in its ranks wrestlers who represent Team Puerto Rico in Girls Freestyle.
Hammer said it is his hope that the incredible strength inboththeTexasandOklahoma Girls wrestling programs will elevate and mutually benefit Southern Oklahoma Girls wrestling.
“After personally training with Jacarra at the Cowboy Regional Training Center, I can say that she has an incredible depth of technical expertise and enormous strength in all of her positions,” Hammer said. “She is without a doubt a fearless warrior on the mat against both women and men. For girls and young women attending her camps, she definitely makes her clinics fun, empowering, and rewarding.”
As for those potential training opportunities between Southern Oklahoma and North Texas girls wrestling, Hammer said he is hopeful.
“They are huge. To have someone like Jacarra teach the very best in transferrable Freestyle techniques to young women means two things: 1,” Hammer said. “Those young women will dominate in Folkstyle at State 2026, and 2. Those young women will have a jump start when they get to college and find out that women wrestle Freestyle there, as well as internationally at the Olympics and at Worlds.”
A Higher Standard in Texoma Wrestling Under Hammer, War-Hammer Wrestling Club brings world-class coaching, cutting-edge training methodology, and athlete development paths designed to elevate competitors across age groups and weight classes. Hammer previously served as Head Coach of Freestyle and Greco for another club in Madill where he coached three Fargo Qualifiers, including a State Triple Crown Winner and helped each of them make history in their own regard.
Additionally, the club boasts guest clinicians such as 4x NCAA All-American and International Medalist, Roger Frizzell, and 7x Uzbek National Champion, Mirzo Khayitov. Khayitov in particular is the training partner for Roman Bravo-Young, Dean Hamiti, and Zahid Valencia; all out of the Cowboy Regional Training Center Empowerment through Elite Girls-Only Training To celebrate its launch, WarHammer Wrestling is introducing Jacarra Winchester’s One-Day All-Girls Wrestling Camp, open to female wrestlers from elementary school through collegiate level.
“I’m super excited to bring my experience to this camp and help foster the next generation of female wrestlers,” Winchester. “Having grown up in an area that didn’t offer girls these kinds of opportunities to train and wrestle, I’m committed to giving as many girls as possible a powerful and supportive environment to take our sport to the next level. I can’t wait to work with these dedicated young athletes.”
