    Kingston’s Lady Redskins took third in the Class 3A State Track Meet with several high individual finishes while Madill was led by a pair of placing performances by senior Yadira Barbosa in the 4A State Meet with both held in Catoosa.

    Allfourrelayteamsearned points for the Lady Redskins with strong efforts as they finished only behind perennial power Washington and Chisholm in team totals. The Kingston boys also notched three placing relay units.

    Barbosa earned a fifthplace state showing in the 3,200meterswithatimeof11 minutes, 57.49 seconds and also tallied an eighth-place effort in the 1,600 meters at 5:29.29. Madill teammate Hadon Stuckey was sixth in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 8 feet, 6 inches.

    The top individual showing for Kingston’s girls came from Kate Ratzlaff, clocking in at 46.24 seconds for third in the 300 hurdles. Coby Davis notched a sixth in the 100 meters in 12.46 seconds with teammate Daisy Avery adding a pair of stellar efforts, including fourth in the 3,200 metersat11:50.22andeighth in the 1,600 with a mark of 5:31.07.

    Lady Redskins Vivian Cobbs, Coby Davis, Kenley Hallum and Avery Ludrick rolled to a state runner-up finish in the 800 relay in a time of 1:44.34 while Cobbs, Davis and Hallum teamed with Addi Cole to also claim state runner-up honors in the 1,600 relay by posting a 4:02.40.

    The grouping of Cassidy Walker,Ratzlaff,Hallumand Davis captured third place medals in the sprint relay (400meters)in49.90seconds. Kingston added an eighth in the 3,200 relay as the unit of Avery, Cole, Ludrick and Ratzlaff crossed the stripe in 10:23.55.

    Kingston’sboyswerehighlighted by Jack Hinsley as he took fourth in the 110 hurdles at 15.05 seconds and was also sixth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 40.53 seconds.

    In the 800 relay, the Redskins claimed bronze medals with a third place time of 1:29.42 for Koewyn Young, Hudson Everhart, Kelly Gray and Logan Stephens. That same unit was sixth in the sprint relay (400 meters) whileEverhartandStephens were grouped with Hinsley and Jaquin Manchaca placing seventh in the 1,600 relay at 3:27.12.
