Body

The Kingston Redskins baseball team went all the way to the state championship this season. The Redskins were the state runner up after losing 13 to 2 to Washington on May 14.

They may have fell to Washington, however, the Redskins had a good run in the end of season tournament. They beat Oklahoma Christian School 2 to 0 on May 12, and beat Keys 4 to 3 on May 13.

During the Keys game, Grant Holmes pitched all seven innings. He only allowed two hit and struck out nine batters. He went two for three at the plate and scored a run.

Holmes hit a double and Rhett Coble drove him home. Tucker Rumer hit a home run, and Braden Matchen, Peyton Morales, and Rumer each made fabulous catches in the outfield.
