The Madill Cross Country (XC) team is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Halloween Run, set to take place on October 29 at William Ray Park. As we gear up for this belovedcommunityevent,we aim to grow participation and create a memorable experience for all involved.
The Halloween Run will kick off with registration starting at 4:30 PM, followed by races beginning at 5:30 PM. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, with an affordable entry fee of just $20. This year, the event promises to be more festive than ever, encouraging all participants to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes.
Local businesses are invited to join the fun by passing out candy at the finish line. This sweet treat will add an extra layer of excitement for participants, especially the younger ones. In addition to the races, attendees can look forward to lively music and the opportunity for children to explore fire trucks on site, making the event a family-friendly celebration not to be missed. All proceeds from the Halloween Run will benefit the Madill XC team, supporting their training and activities throughout the season. By participating, you not only promote health and fitness but also contribute to the development of our young athletes.
