Lady Redskins run away to Madill meet title

Kingston girls ran away with the Brandon Jacks Memorial Track Invitational championship last Friday in Madill, outdistancing rival Plainview for the title.

The Lady Redskins’ Coby Davis was stellar as well in taking the 100 meters title at 12.93 seconds and added a fourth in the 200 meters at 27.05 seconds.

Addie Cole chipped in a fourth in the 800 meters at 2:36.05, Daisy Avery was fourth in the 3,200 meters as well in 12:09.70, Gracie Donnell took third in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches and Hadon Stuckey wrapped up fifth in the pole vault at eight feet even.

The Lady Redskins rolled to the 400-meter relay crown in only 50.61 seconds behind theteamcomposedofCassidy Walker, Ratzlaff, Kenley Hallum and Davis. Walker was the anchor leg in the 800 relay that placed second in 1:48.89 as she paired with VivianCobbsKenleyHallum and Avery Ludrick.

AddieCole,Avery,Ludrick and Layla Thompson were fifth place finishers in the 3,200 relay at 10:50.65.

Kingston’s boys squad had a pair of relay placing units led by the sprint relay foursome of Koewyn Young, Kelly Gray, Jaden Fraize and Logan Stephens as they placed third in 44.49 seconds. Gray, Young and Stephens combined with Hudson Everhart to notch a fifth in the 800 relay at 1:35.69.

Stephens contributed a fourth in the 400 meters at 53.81 seconds while Dominic Sokolic ended sixth in the discus with a toss of 125 feet, 11 inches.
