Krislyn Anderson
Krislyn Anderson is a senior at Madill High School and participates in fastpitch and slow-pitch. She also participated in basketball her freshman year. She has attended Madill public schools all twelve years. Her parents are Keith and Tiffany Anderson. She has two brothers named Gavin and Gaige Anderson.
Anderson said her favorite memory from softball was senior night.
“We played our hearts out and then got to do the senior ceremony,” she said. She said she has plenty of people who have inspired her, but her mom was her greatest inspiration.
“I am thankful for my coaches for always pushing me to be a better player and an overall better person,” Anderson said. “I grew up with her telling me about all of the sports she did, so I wanted to follow her footsteps.”
“My parents and grandparents have been my inspiration in life because they always did their best in looking out for me and guiding me my eighteen years of life,” she continued. “I want them to know that I am thankful for them always believing in me and pushing me to get good grades as well as raising me into the adult I am becoming. I wouldn’t know what to do without them.”
Anderson said her greatest challenge was accepting the fact that she is going to out on her own soon and going off to college, so her advice to the younger classman is to not waste your time on the unimportant things and enjoy high school while it last because it goes fast.
After high school, Anderson said she wants to attend Murray State College to get her basics and then transfer to a university to major in criminal justice.
