Billy Arbuckle battled butterflies and bruises in the Tuttle Freestyle & Greco Open at Tuttle High School. It was an Opener to remember on Easter weekend for Arbuckle who wrestled in the 14U category in the 96-100 lb weight bracket.
Arbuckle is in his 1st year withWarHammerWrestling ClubofKingstonandisan8th grader who also wrestles for the Dickson Comets during Folkstyle season.
Given the Tuttle Open is only Arbuckle’s first Freestyle event of the year, Coach Peter Hammer was impressed watching him hit moves in his 3-man Round Robin that showcased his comfort and versatility.
_Arbuckle was elated with his performance and the opportunity to watch his older brother, Joey, hit his own personal bests in the 16U - 132 lb bracket. After watching the Greco-Roman bouts, both Arbuckles can’t wait to double down in the next Open by wrestling in both Freestyle and Greco.
