Trevor Dwayne Gentry, 19, of Madill, Okla., passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at the Madill Alliance Hospital. He was born on April 2, 2000, in Durant, Okla., to Kenny Gentry and Rebecca Mattingly Gentry. Trevor was raised in Ravia where he attended school till eighth grade and graduated from Madill High School in 2018. Trevor’s dream was to work in the oil field. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and mudding.
Trevor is survived by his parents: Kenny and Rebecca Gentry, Madill, Okla.; girl friend: Kaylee Cox, Norman, Okla.; nephews: Devin and Payton McLaughlin, Madill, Okla.; Conner Brittain, Madill, Okla.; nieces: Jaelen Williams, Madill, Okla.; Brinlee Brittain, Madill, Okla.; Ashlynn Brittain, Madill, Okla.; sisters: Breanna Ratliff, Durant, Okla.; Megan Williams, Madill, Okla.; Mignon Gentry and husband, Ashely Brittain, Madill, Okla.; grandparents: Ethel Mattingly, Ravia, Okla. and Jessie and Lou Gentry, Madill, Okla.
Trevor was preceded in death by his grandfather: Lloyd Mattingly.
A benefit account for expenses has been set up at the First United Bank in Madill, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 11 at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla., from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and a family hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, 2019, at the First Baptist Church, Madill, Okla. Cecil Mackey will officiate the service. Music will be arranged by Jerry and Jeremy Studdard. Interment will be at the Ravia Cemetery, Ravia, Okla. Casket bearers will be: Devin McLaughlin, Gavin Beaumont, Josh Ratliff, Ashley Brittain, Raydon Williams and Tanner Gentis.
Honorary bearers are: Payton McLaughlin, Collum Studdard, Julian Garza, Conner Brittain and Justin Gillis.
