Sharon Ann Ross 74, of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born October 12, 1945 in Madill to the Late Woodrow McGill and Thelma Warren McGill and Thelma Warren McGill. Sharon was raised in Oakland and graduated from Madill High School in 1963. She married Henry Ross on May 25, 1963 in Oakland.

Sharon later attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and East Central University where she received her master’s degree. Sharon taught for 27 years at Mannsville, Madill, Plainview, Springer, and Whitesboro. She attended the Church of Christ and enjoyed and taking care of her grand kids.

She is survived by; husband, Henry Ross of Ardmore Oklahoma; children, Lee Ross and wife Jenni of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Scotty Ross and wife Lori of Decatur, Texas; grandchildren, Allyn Long and Husband Mark, Tori Ross, Mitchell Ross, Sam Marino, Allie Marino, Zac Marino, Jacob Marino, Kourtney McMurray and Husband David, Brody Ross, Daniel Ross, Nate Salyer and wife Lindsey, Bobbie Salyer, Stephanie Hefley and husband Ryan, Zakkary Bright, Peyton Bright, and Kylee Ross; great grandchild, Elie Bright; brother, Warren McGill and wife Marion, Hoschton, Georgia.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter; Ann Michelle Rose Bright. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2020 at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. With family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4 2020 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Joe Patterson will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma, Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
