Sally Sue Harrington, 87, of Dallas, Texas, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dallas. She was born May 21, 1932, in Willis, Okla., to the late Clarence William Taylor and Vera Irene Johnson Taylor. Sally was raised in Willis and Chickasha, Okla., and later graduated from Russett High School before attending the Dallas Business College. She retired from Safeway and lived in Dallas for over 55 years.

Sally was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She gave her heart to Jesus and was Baptized at the age of 13. The church and her family were first and foremost in her life. She loved reading her Bible, sharing her faith and wealth of knowledge and wisdom with others. Her precious spirit, phone conversations and visits will be missed by her loved ones. Sally enjoyed painting, writing, calling and loving on people. She also enjoyed looking up family history and reading her Bible.

Sally is survived by her children: Melody Owens, Blue Ridge, Texas; Glenn Smith and wife, Linda Sue, Nevada, Texas; Sandra Lyles, Tyler, Texas; Matilda Lyles, Tyler, Texas; grandchildren: Mandie Wood and husband, Jamie; Tim Taylor and wife, Stacie; Katelyn Smith, Dylan Hammons, Mason and China Smith; Christopher Smith, Nick Smith, Billy Powell, Athena Mills, Cameron Perez, Belle Perez, Kevin Calip, Trinty Lyles, Whiney McCarty, Sierra McCarty; 11 great-grandchild: Kailey, Emma, Lexi, Judah, Addie, Weston, Greyson, Payton, Ty, Brielan and Daniel. Brothers: Tommy James Taylor and wife, Dorothy Mae, Kingston, Okla.; Charles Winston Taylor and wife, Janie, Willis, Okla.; Richard Dean Taylor and wife, Linda, Kingston, Okla.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, son: Mark Smith, grandson: Anthony Jason, brothers: Jerry, Robert, Royce and Taylor and sister: Vickie Barnes.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma.

Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Okla. Mason Smith will officiate the service. Song leader will be Richard Taylor. Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery, Willis, Okla. Casket bearers will be: Grandson.
