Lindamood
N. V. Lindamood, 77, of Enos, Okla. passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at her home. She was born on May 26, 1945, in Talihina, Okla. to the late Robert Neasbitt and Viviana Banner Williams Neasbitt.
She grew up in West Texas before moving to Enos. She married Benny Lonzo Lindamood on April 21, 1965, in Dallas, Texas and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2015. In 1967, she moved to Grand Prairie, Texas where she lived for 10 years before moving back to Enos.
N. V. worked hard her entire life, truck driving, working in the cafeteria at Kingston Schools, trained horses and raising her kids. She enjoyed going to rodeos, hunting mushrooms, training horses, playing with her dogs and playing with her grandkids. N. V. was a member of the Lake Country Sweethearts Drill team and the founder of the Church of Hope in Enos. She was the backbone of the family.
N.V. wasprecededindeathbyherparents;husbandand two sons, Robert Joe Lindamood and Roy Stoney Eddings.
N. V. is survived by her children, Buddy Hunnell of Kingston, Okla., Joeavnn Eddings of Enos, Okla., Roxann Offutt of Enos, Okla. and Laura Kay Lindamood of Enos, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Tamara O’Steen, Jeremy Snider, Cody Joel, Benny Joe Lindmood, Eric Kendy, Trampars Weant and Waylon Linton; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Russell Neasbitt of Kingston, Okla.; sisters, Joyce Waggoner and husband Kenneth of Enos, Okla., Delilah Arterberry of Enos, Okla. and Virginia Moore and husband Jay of Enos, Okla.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be at the Keel Cemetery in Madill, Okla. at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023. Jay Moore will officiate the service. Music arranged by Jay Moore and Virginia Moore. Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers will be Benny Joe Lindamood, Jeremy and E. J. Snider, Buddy Hunnell, Delton O’Steen, Andre King and Travis Weldon.
Honorary Bearers are Joe Offutt, Dewayne Huffstutler, James Dewayne Little and Ernie Wilson.
