Mary Pauline Tyner 88, of Madill passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 in Madill. She was born December 30, 1930 in Waurika, Oklahoma to the late Virgil Lee Putman and Dessie Permelia Hunter Putman. Pauline was raised in Waurika and moved to Madill where she attended Madill schools. She married George “Little” Tyner on March 3, 1948 in Marshall County and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1994. Pauline lived in Madill her entire life and worked as a Kindergarten teacher and for Peterson’s Department Store. She later worked as a secretary for WW Trailers, J&I and S&H before going to work for the Madill schools as the Cafeteria Manager. Pauline was an active member of Madill Church of Christ, Historical Society, JC & Jaycee Janes and a Campfire Leader. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing and loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by children: Doug Tyner Sr. and wife Lori Ann, Madill, Oklahoma, Linda LeJean Kenedy and husband Phillip, Enid, Oklahoma, Vicky Henry and husband Robby, Fobb, Oklahoma, Ellen Stafford and husband Ferrell, Kingston, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren: Doug Tyner Jr., Michele Dancer, Gina Treadway, Tressa Matchen, Jason Tyner, Mathew Tyner, Heather Cofer, Dustin Watkins, Brandi Wheeler, Danielle Taylor, P.J. Kenedy, Amanda Rushing, Lan Sparlin, Courtney Thomas, Raelynn Adams, Daniel Dickerson, Lisa Pate; 21 Great Grandchildren; five Great Great Grandchildren and 2 on the way; Sister-in-laws: Letha Putman, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Marika Putman, Durant, Oklahoma.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Paula Kay Offutt, brothers; Everett and Billy Jean Putman.

Memorials may be made to the Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp, 14756 Pettijohn Springs Rd, Madill, OK 73446.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. With family hour from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Rev. Todd McRay and Doug Tyner Jr. will officiate the service. Music will be arranged by Buddy Tyner and Brissa Brown. Interment will be at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
