Jessie Loretta Thompson, 106, of Kingston, Okla. passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Family Care Center in Kingston. She was born on January 20, 1914 in Steve, Yell County, Arkansas to the late James Arthur Cobb and Mary Elizabeth Jones Cobb.

Jessie was raised in Arkansas and Southern Oklahoma. She married Sam Franklin Thompson on February 6, 1931 in Madill. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith where she was a preacher of the word in her younger years.

The things Granny loved the most were her Lord and Savior and her family. She was a avid gardener, a quilter, lover of the outdoors, a reader, a letter writer, a great cook, a cane pole fisherman, a wood splitter, a cotton picker, and her favorite color was red.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Alice Page of Kingston, Okla., grandchildren, Larry J. Page and wife Kathryn of Colorado, Bruce Page and wife Peggy of Madill, Okla., LaJeanne Reid and husband Gary of Kingston, Okla., seven great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren, and six great great great grandchildren.

Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Sam Thompson, sisters Clora May Flewellen, Birdie Reed and Flora, brothers Britt Cobb and Junior Cobb and her great great great granddaughter; Kree Page

Visitation was Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service were held Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Okla. at 2:00 pm.

Roy Vinson and Joe Patterson officiated the service. Music was arranged by Susie Vinson, Wayne Thompson and Zac Porterfield. Interment was at the Shay Cemetery, Shay, Okla. Services
