Jackie Weldon Nabors, 74, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born on June 9, 1950, in Powell, Okla. to the late J. C. Nabors and Lavina Johanna Frameness Nabors. Jackie was raised in Powell and attended Kingston Public school where he graduated in 1969.
HemarriedJudyGayleShortonJuly23, 1973, in Durant, Okla. Jackie worked for Parrish Electric in Madill before starting his own business in 1992, Nabors Plumbing. HewasamemberoftheMadillChurch of the Nazarene, and he enjoyed anything outside, gardening, mowing, fishing, hunting and playing with his grandchildren and going out to eat.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Charles; sister, Marsha Dyer; half-brothers, Joel, Wendyl, James and Ralph.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Judy Gayle Nabors of Madill, Okla.; children, Christopher Nabors, Michelle Edwards and Corey Jackson, all of Madill, Okla.; grandchildren, Madison McDow, Chloe Jackson, Emma Edwards and Stella Nabors; great grandchild, Alyra Wallace; brother, Robert Nabors of Madill, Okla.; sisters, Anna Mae Sliger and husband Wayne of Lebanon, Okla., Betty Moss and husband Clifton of Madill, Okla., Linda Horn and husband David of Madill, Okla.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Jerry Townley will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Powell Cemetery in Powell, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers will be Brian Parrish, Jim Little, Tony McDougall, Jacobb Wallace, Corey Jackson, Cody Horn and Tony Crowley .
