Glenda June Skiles, 70 of Madill, Okla., passed away on February 15, 2021 at the hospital in Madill. She was born on October 18, 1950 in Madill, Okla. to the late Bill Ball Buckaloo and Ruby Forguson Buckaloo. Glenda was raised in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Powell, Okla.

She graduated from Kingston High School and worked at Brookside Nursing Center as a Nurses Aid for several years. Glenda also worked as a store clerk at Straub’s and as a cook at the Lake Texoma Lodge. She was a member of the Powell Holiness Church and she enjoyed watching westerns, working puzzle books and reading. Glenda loved Harry Potter and John Wayne.

She is survived by her children; Chris Skiles and wife Lori of Kingston, Okla., Tayler McBeth and husband Dylan of Kingston, Okla., grandchildren; Cody Skiles, Whisper Odom, Cameron Skiles, Mikey Skiles, Logan Skiles, and Carisa Skiles, great grandchildren; Bentley Gunnels, Aiden Gunnels and Kinzee Odom, brother Eddie Buckaloo and wife Carolyn of Kingston, Okla., sisters; Sandra Hammons of Powell, Okla., Donna Goff and husband Paul Abbott of Little City, Okla., Sherry Porter and husband Steve of Frisco, Texas, and Melisa Graham and husband Kevin of Ravia, Okla.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and one Tressie Skiles.

Visitation was held Friday, February 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.

Services were at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Chris Webb officiated the service. Interment was at the Powell Cemetery in Powell, Okla. Service was under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Lonnie Goff, Kevin Goff, Kyle Goff, William Navarrett, Adam Navarrett, Chase Navarrett, Josh Buckaloo, Michael Looney, Loyd Looney, and Orry Hammons.
