Eddie Ferrell Gilmore

Eddie Ferrell Gilmore, 78, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. He was born in Madill to the late Doris Gilmore and Sylvia Marie Black Gilmore.

Eddie lived his entire life in Madill. He graduated from Madill High School in 1963 and worked at Uniroyal/Michelin as a tire builder for 25 years.

Eddie married Ollie Cynthia Bates on June 30, 1992, in Whitesboro, Texas. He was a member of the Grantham Baptist Church, and he was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and coon hunting. Eddie loved his coon dogs.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parent; and brother; Ronnie Gilmore.

He is Survived by his wife, Cindy Gilmore of Madill, Okla. and son, Danny Eric Gilmore of Stonewall, Okla.

Memorials may be made to any local animal shelter. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Jerry White will officiate the service. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
