Christi Carol Daube, 47, of Ardmore, Okla. passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Kingston, Okla. She was born on November 24, 1975, in Ardmore to Norvil Devyrle Ingle and Linda Lorene Skiles Ingle.

Christi was raised in Mannsville and graduated from Dickson High School in 1994. She attended Eastern Oklahoma State College, where she played basketball, setting the rebound record of 19 in a single game.

Christi married Dave Ward Daube on May 11, 1996, in Ardmore, Okla. She served on many community boards including C.A.S.A , YMCA, and the Boys and Girls Club of Ardmore. Christi held a deep admiration for her father’s work ethic and drive which she carried with her to daily morning workouts with her special group of friends. She had a natural competitive spirit and loved high school and collegiate sports.

She loved entertaining friends through which she became a talented cook. However, Christi’s greatest achievement, and what she was most proud of, was instilling and transferring those qualities to her son Jackson. There was a sense of accomplishment which was reflected to her in every sunrise and sunset she sought out daily thereafter.

Christi was preceded in death by her father; Devyrle Ingle.

Christi is survived by her husband, Dave Daube of Ardmore, Okla.; son, Jackson Daube of Ardmore, Okla.; mother, Linda Ingle of Ardmore, Okla.; siblings, Randy Ingle and wife Shayla of Simpson, Okla., Rhonda Gayle Ingle of Ardmore, Okla.; father and mother-in-law, Sam Daube and Machen of Ardmore, Okla.; brother in-law, Lee Daube and wife Christie of Ardmore, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Amara Ingle Harris, Keely Ingle, Payton Ingle, Allison Ingle, Paige Daube and Price Daube Visitation was Monday, October 9, 2023, at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service was 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church in Ardmore, Okla. It was officiated by David Daniel. Interment was at the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville, Okla. Service wereunder the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Travis Ritter, David Hull, Daniel Hull, Chris Nance, Otis Guy Bacon IV, Casey Runyan, Blake Roberts and Creig Belt.
