Marshall County man facing kidnapping charges

A Marshall County man is facing charges after a domestic altercation on May 7. It all began with Marshall County dispatch sent Madill Police Officer Patton to a residence on Sunset regarding Tony Dixon, a 45-year-old male from Madill, allegedly making threats.

Patton arrived at the residence and knocked on the doorwhenafemaleanswered the door. Patton inquired as to where Dixon was. The victim stated that the suspect was going to Ardmore. He originally left on foot, but somebody picked him up and gave him a ride.

The victim said that she came home from Walmart and Dixon was walking out of the door. According to the victim, when she asked Dixon where he was going, he 'stomped on her stomach' and tried to kick her in the head. He also threatened everybody in the residence. These threats included the two minors in the residence. She also alleged that Dixon told her that if she called the cops he was 'going to beat her.'

The night prior, Dixon allegedly showed up at the residence and kicked in the door. The minor child stood in front of the victim to protect her from Dixon. That was when Dixon allegedly locked them in the bedroom and wouldn't let them out. The said they were held hostage forapproximately30minutes while Dixon screamed at them and threatened them.

Court records show that Dixon spent time in prison for Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery and had recently beenreleased.Thevictimalso told officers that a few days prior, on their anniversary, Dixon hit her, threw an onion at her, threatened her with a razor blade and forced her to have sex with him.

Patton left the residence only to be called back that afternoon due to Dixon showing back up. While officers arrived on scene, the victim and the minor children were leaving the residence.

Dixon then, barricaded himself in the back bedroom and refused to exit the room. Patton attempted to go around the house to the window of the room where Dixon had barricaded himself. As he banged on the window and ordered Dixon to come out, he noticed the suspect attempting to jump the fence and flee. Fortunately, another officer was able to apprehend Dixon and take him to the Marshall County Jail. He is facing charges for Kidnappging, Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery, Threatening to Perform Acts and Obstruction.
