The Madill High School band received Excellent Ratings at the OSSAA State Jazz Band Contest on April 25. This was the first time in school history for the band to compete at this level. MHS band also competed at State Solo and Ensemble Contest in Stillwater on April 21. Results are as follows: Solos: Joshua Groeber, Emmaliegh Whitaker, Kaylee Philips, Luke Hamilton- Superior ratings; Kevin Rivera, Michael Hoedebeck- Excellent ratings; Armando Gonzalez- Good Rating.
