The Marshall County Junior Livestock Show was held on February 23, 24 and 25.Studentspreparedanimal exhibits in the prior months in preparation of the event that was held during National FFA Week. Students showed pigs, cows, sheep and goats while judges voted on the best.
Studentscompetedtohave exhibits make the premium sale on February 25. Many of the proceeds went toward the cost students incurred in caring for the animals prior to the show.
Reign Scasta's animal was the Grand Steer, Baler Lott took Grand Barrow, and Jackson Harper had the GrandWetherLamb.Hadley Bell had the Grand Wether Goat, Cutter Scasta had the Grand Heifer, and Jackson Harper had the Grand Gilt. Addyson Shelton had the Grand Ewe, Cassidy Hall had the Grand Doe Goat, and Jarron Cantrell had the Grand Poultry.
Many students took the reserve spots. Dustin Fonte had the Reserve Steer, Jackson Harper had the Reserve Barrow, Hadley Bell had the Reserve Wether Lamb, Holden McGahey had the Reserve Wether Goat, and Clair Hartin had the Reserve Heifer.
Bridger Lott had the Reserve Gilt, Adriean Colescott-Bell had the Reserve Ewe and Reserve Doe Goat, and Marshall Cantrell had the Reserve Poultry.
