Sue Carol Green

Sue Carol (Warren) Green, 88, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2023, in Puyallup, Wash. She was born in Seminole, Okla. on December 19, 1934, to Albert (Ab) and Noma Warren. At the age of four, her family moved to Little City, Okla. and soon to Cumberland, Okla. where she grew up.

She graduated from Madill High School in 1952. She was an excellent student and was a drum majorette. In August of that year, she married her one and only love, Vernon Green. Shortly after they married, they moved to Texas and began their family a year and a half later.

Vernon’s work took them to several states until they finally settled in Tacoma, Wash. in 1966 where she lived the rest of her life. She loved to travel, especially visiting her extended family. She had a strong faith in the Lord, and it never wavered. She was actively involved in her church in her younger years and loved teaching little ones in Sunday School.

For anyone who knew her would certainly know that her entire life was devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was to be with and take care of her family. She loved being a mom and a grandmother.
