Melva Sue (Bridgman) Young, 73, passed on Friday, November 4, 2022. She was born to the late Louis and Erma (Young) Bridgman on August 23, 1949 in Merced, Calif.. She attended school at Graham, Okla.
Melva and Darryl were married on March 2, 1984. Both loved the lake and madetheirdecisiontolivebyLakeTexoma in Enos, Okla.
Melva loved to cook. That love of cooking led her to work in the food industry for most of her working career. She knew the way to ones heart was through their stomach. Melva was better known as Meme to not only her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, but to anyone that knew her.
She loved to brag on her children, grandchildren, and to show everyone. She was proud of them all and always hanging out with. She never met a stranger and never talk a strangers leg off if they would let her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Darryl Love and their two fur babies, Itty Bit and Gypsy; daughters, Carla and husband Dan Johnson of Norman, Okla., and Christa and husband Rene Chapa of Madill, Okla.; son, Mark Jr and wife Carol Teel of Marlow, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that were her pride and joy.
It was her wish to be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
