The 19th Annual Richard Rials Memorial Fastpitch TournamentwasheldThursday, September 15 through Saturday, September 17. High School Fastpitch teams from all over Southern Oklahoma were in attendance.
On Thursday, the Lady Wildcats couldn't hold up against a tough Valliant squad, dropping their game 14 to 1.
On Friday, the Wildcats watched their first game of the day slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9 to 1 loss to Duncan. The second game of the day was against Shawnee. The Lady Wildcats nabbed the win despite an early three run inning.
The Wildcat offense tallied eight hits for the game. Peyton Arnold, Zeplyn Thomas and Lauren Campbell each collected multiple hits. Peyton Arnold pitched the Lady Wildcats to victory, allowing five hits and three runs, while striking out six and walking only one. Final score was 10 to 3.
To bring their tournament play to a close on Saturday, Madill dropped two games. Their first loss of the day was to the top ranked Durant Lady Lions, losing 8 to 0. For their last game of the tournament, Madill was brought down 8 to 4 by the Ardmore Lady Tigers.
