Janase LaMae Bruffy

Janase LaMae Bruffy, 54, of Gordonville, Texas passed away on September 7, 2022, at her home in Gordonville. She was born on December 29, 1967, in Blythe, Calif. Janase was raised in Ardmore, Okla. and Cleburne, Texas before moving to Kingston, Okla. where she graduated high school in 1986. She married Steven Ray Bruffy on June 2, 2008, in Nashville, Tenn. and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2018.

While the kids were young Janase worked as a stay-at-home mom, then later attending Murray State College where she received a degree in Computer Science. She was currently employed at the WinStar Casino where she enjoyed working with her husband before his passing. Janase was affi liated with the Church of Christ faith. She loved fi shing with Laney, just being with her kiddos and taking care of her grandbabies.

Janase was preceded in death by her father Harold Erwin and husband Steve.

She is survived by her children, Krysta McGehee and husband Donnie of Kingston, Okla., Laney Lollis and wife Megan of Kingston, Okla.; stepchildren, Steven Bruffy Jr. of Tennessee, Shawn Bruffy of Gordonville, Texas, Chelsea Bruffy of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Jemma and Jarrett Hargis, Braden and Alexis McGehee and Bryce Bruffy; mother, Melba Erwin of Kingston, Okla.; siblings, Monroe Taylor and wife Arlene of Ardmore, Okla., Alisa Grimes and husband Tom of Ada, Okla., and Michael Taylor and wife Michelle of Satsuma, Ala.

VisitationwillbeMondaySeptember12,2022attheWatts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Graveside service was held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Willis Cemetery in Willis, Okla. Krysta McGehee offi ciated the service. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
