This has been another quiet week for the firemen, which is nice. We want to thank Ann and Robert Speck of Specktacular Foods, on McDuffee Road for the generous donation. For every Hunts Brother Pizza sold, they will donate $1.00 to the Texoma Fire District. Again, thank you for the wonderful donation.
This Wednesday night, the fire district will have fire trucks at the Lighthouse United Methodist Church for their Fall Festival and in Kingston for their Fall Festival, so we are looking forward to seeing you there.
On Saturday November 2 at 8:00 a.m., there is a Roadside Cleanup planned, so come help your volunteer firemen cleanup the road and then join them for breakfast afterwards.
Now that the leaves are really starting to come down, remember DO NOT Burn on a windy day, and make sure those fires are out before leaving them unattended.
On Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Lighthouse United Methodist Church has a “No strings attached” meal for the community so you are all welcome to attend.
