It's that time of year for the ladies Auxiliary to start selling raffle tickets for a guided fishing trip for 4 or a 2 nights stay in the Deluxe Cabins for 4. The drawing will be at our Mexican Pile On Saturday September 7.
For anybody wishing to purchase tickets, please contact Cyndi at 405-8129746 or Shellie at 972-7460092 or any member of the ladies Auxiliary. All proceeds go directly to the TFD.
We are still asking for donations of water or Gatorade for our Volunteer Firefighters. Remember, they are there for our darkest days but they do work up a big thirst, especially in this heat. Please contact Shellie at 972-746-0092 if you would like to donate.
Ladies our next Auxiliary meeting is August 17 at 1:30 p.m. with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting. We still need water and Gatorade donations so please give contact me at 972-746-0092 The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to renttheTexomaCommunity Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
