Cameron Lindsey, a 32-year-old from Madill was charged with Second-Degree Murder more than seven years after his father, Joseph Lindsey’s death. Joseph Lindsey was found dead on January 4, 2019, after conducting welfare check in the 200 block of North 7 th Avenue.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations stated that a neighbor called andrequestedawelfarecheck for Joseph after not seeing him for a week. Officers entered the residence and found Joseph dead from gunshot wounds. Officers alleged that Cameron shot Joseph in the head three times, ultimately killing him.
If convicted, Cameron Lindsey could face up to life in prison.
