The Texoma Volunteer Firefighters would like to thank the community for makingtheTacoPileOnsuch a success last Saturday.
The last Auxiliary meeting had 22 members in attendance. It was called to order at 1:20 p.m., everybody said the Pledge of Allegiance.
The guest speaker was Marshall County Commissioner, Chris DuRoy.He shared updates on ongoing projects including the Roosevelt Bridge, the Hard Rock Hotel and the widening of Texoma Park Road.
The Ladies Auxiliary would like to give a big shout out to Paula Zimmerman and Cindy Reed for putting flowersinfrontofthecommunity and training building. It looks great.
Ladies, the next Auxiliary meeting will be Monday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m., with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting. Anyone who would like to join the Auxiliary please join the next meeting.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
