The ladies of the Texoma Volunteer Fire District Auxiliary would like to thank the community for making the Spring Cookie and Craft Market a huge success last Saturday.
As we all know, Marshall County has not yet been put under a burn ban. However, it is has been a while since we have had any substantial rain, and the Spring winds as usual are quite gusty. Please use extreme precautions when burning.
Ladies our next meeting is April 20 at 1:30 p.m. with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
